8. What must be added to 5x³ – 2x² + 6x + 7 to make the  

     sum  x³ + 3x² – x + 1 ?

11. Draw a parallelogram PQRS  in which PQ= 5.2 cm , PS=

      4.2 cm and  < QPS=60. Measures its diagonals.

13. If a=2  , b=  – 2  , find the value of

14. A man bought some pencils for Rs 30 and some pens

      for Rs 90. The next day , he again bought some pencils

      for Rs 25. Then , he sold all the pencils for Rs 20 and the

      pens for Rs 70 . What was his net gain or loss?

15. Can two numbers have 16 as their HCF and 204 as their

      LCM ? Give reason.
