1.Find the area and perimeter of the rectangle whose

a) Length = 5 m,    breadth = 4 m

b) Length=5m ,      breadth=  250 m

c) Length =3.8 m , breadth=  240 cm

d) Length =4.25 m.breadth=  2.05 m

2.Find the area and perimeter of square whose side is 10 cm.

3.Find the perimeter of a triangle with sides 4.9 cm , 6.3 cm and 5.01 cm

4.The length of a rectangular field is twice its breadth . If perimeter of the field is 522 m . Find the length of the field.

5.Cost of fencing around a square field is Rs.40500.If the cost of fencing per metre is Rs.45 . Find the area of square field.

6.A room has length 4 m and breadth 3 m is to be covered by square tiles. If each square tile is of side 20 cm , then find number of tiles required to cover floor of room.

7.Find perimeter of regular octagon of side 9 cm .

8.If perimeter of a regular pentagon is 720 cm. Find its sides.

9.If perimeter of an isosceles triangle is 22 cm .Find third side if one of the two equal side is 9 cm.

10.If length of a rectangular field is thrice its breadth and Amit runs around it 5 times and covered a distance of 8 km . Find length and breadth of the field.

11.Length of a rectangular field is 6 times its breadth. If the length of the field is 120 cm. Find breadth & perimeter of the field.

12.How many square tiles with side 90 cm are needed to cover a floor of area 81 sq.m

13.If perimeter of a square and a rectangle is same. If a side of the square is 25 cm & one side of rectangle is 20 cm. Find area of rectangle.

14.The area of rectangular field is 150 sq.m , if length of the field is 30 m. Find breadth of the field.

15.The area of rectangular field is 66 sq.m , if breadth of the field is 11 m . Find perimeter of the field.

16.A wire is cut and bent into a square of side 25 cm. Find length of the wire.

17.Renuka has a cardboard of measure 90 cm x 40 cm , whereas Armaan has one which measures 50 cm x 70 cm .Which will cover more area & by how much .

18.Avneet has a chart paper of measure 60 m x 20 m and Salim has one which measures 40 m x 30 m .Which has the greater area & by how much.

19.If length of a rectangular field is 150 m and width is 100 m . I run around this field 4 times. How far I run . How many times should I run around the field to cover a distance of 4 km.

20.Cost of fencing around a rectangular field is Rs. 12000. If cost of fencing per m is Rs.30 and length of field is 150 m. Find breadth of field . Also find area of this field.

21.Find side of square whose perimeter is 40 cm.

22.Heena runs 8 times around a square field of side 80 m . Her sister Anuradha runs 7 times around a rectangular  field with length 150 m & breadth 60 m . Who covers more distance and by how much.
